Karen M. Ball
Karen came to join the Chorale in 2015 after the previous director of over 30 years, Margo Goldolphin, stepped down in retirement. Karen brings her love of teaching music to her leadership of the Chorale, with an enthusiasm and expertise that is refreshing.She received her musical education at the University of California, Chico where she also received her teaching credential. Subsequently, she received a Master of Arts in Worship Leadership from the Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary.
Over the past 36 years, Karen has taught music both privately and in the public schools, headed youth music camps and has been a Church Music Director and worship leader in the local community. Karen thrives on encouraging others to excel, while building their self-confidence and abilities in music and performance.
